MCX512A-ACAT is an NVIDIA ConnectX-5 EN dual port 25GbE smart network card that focuses on low latency, high throughput, and hardware offloading, suitable for data centers, storage, and virtualization scenarios.
The ConnectX-5 Ethernet network interface card provides a high-performance and flexible solution, supporting up to two 10/25GbE connection ports with latency as low as 750 nanoseconds and transmission speeds of up to 200 million messages per second (Mpps). When running the open-source Data Path Development Kit (DPDK) PCIe (Gen 4.0), it can reach up to 197Mpps. For storage workloads, ConnectX-5 offers a range of innovative acceleration features, such as hardware signature switching (T10-DIF), embedded PCIe switches, and NVMe over Fabric target offloading capabilities. The ConnectX-5 adapter card also brings advanced Open vSwitch offloading capabilities to telecommunications and cloud data centers, reducing CPU resource consumption and achieving extremely high packet rates and throughput, thereby improving the efficiency of data center infrastructure.
