The P2100G 2x100G PCIe NIC is based on Broadcom's scalable 10/25/40/50/100/200G Ethernet controller architecture, designed to build highly scalable and feature rich network solutions in servers for enterprise and cloud scale network and storage applications, including high-performance computing, telecommunications, machine learning, storage decomposition, and data analysis.
The P2100G 2x100G PCIe NIC is built on the successful foundation of the widely deployed Broadcom architecture, combining high bandwidth Ethernet controllers with a unique set of highly optimized hardware acceleration engines to enhance network performance and improve server efficiency.
Driven by the growing demand for higher server bandwidth and storage capacity to support emerging applications, enterprises, telecom companies, and cloud providers are adopting the latest network technologies such as server virtualization and NVMe oF ™） To achieve modernization of data centers. The resulting expansion of data volume has increased server to server traffic and CPU load on network tasks.
The P2100G 2x100G PCIe NIC adapter can be configured as a 2x100G adapter, where Port0 is active at 200G and Port1 is disabled. This can be configured through firmware at runtime. With its market leading hardware acceleration technology, the P2100G 2x100G PCIe NIC meets the performance and service requirements of large data center networks through high throughput and advanced traffic processing. TruFlow ™ The feature can increase virtual machine density by up to 50%, thereby freeing up more CPU cycles for other virtual machines. Compared to pure software solutions, the on-chip tunneling protocol processing of Geneve, VXLAN, and NVGRE can increase throughput by up to 5 times while reducing CPU utilization by up to 90%. These solutions also support advanced network technologies such as RoCE, SDN, and NFV to facilitate data network management and support service provider solutions.
