1、 Interface physical definition: Host end (A head): SFF-8611 4i (OCuLink 4-channel, 34Pin male head, with snap lock). Device end (B-head): SFF-8643 4i (Mini SAS HD, 36Pin male, standard built-in SAS interface). Channel mapping: A pair of straight through channels, 4 differential channels are directly connected without loss, without distribution lines or relay chips (passive version); Active model with built-in signal amplification and equalization chip, supporting longer distances. Plug and pull durability: ≥ 50 plug and pull cycles, gold-plated contact thickness ≥ 30 μ ". II. Rate and protocol support: compatible protocol: NVMe, SAS, SATA three modes, adaptive three mode RAID/HBA card and storage backplane. Differential impedance: 85 Ω± 10%, compliant with SAS/PCIe high-speed signal specifications. 3、 Cable electrical and structural parameters: Wire gauge: Passive standard version 32AWG shielded twisted pair; Active long-distance model 30AWG. Shielding structure: Each pair of differential lines is independently shielded+outer braided total shielding to reduce chassis crosstalk. Standard length: 0.3m/0.5m/0.8m/1m; Passive up to 0.8m, active up to 1.5m. Operating environment: temperature -40 ℃~+85 ℃, RoHS, UL94 V-0 flame retardant rating. Power supply contact: only data signal, no hard disk power supply, power supply requires additional lead out from the backplane.
